Luv Michael Inc. sends text messages (SMS) to volunteers and supporters who have opted in through our volunteer signup form. By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on signup, you agree to receive text messages from Luv Michael about your volunteer account, including welcome messages, onboarding reminders, and updates about your activity in our peer fundraising program.

How often we text: Message frequency varies by account activity and typically does not exceed a few messages per week.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Luv Michael does not charge for these messages.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent.

Help: Reply HELP to any message to receive contact information for support, or email us at info@luvmichael.org.

Data handling: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS content with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use a third-party telecommunications provider (Twilio) solely to deliver messages on our behalf; Twilio's handling of phone numbers is governed by their own privacy policy.

Supported carriers: Messages are supported on all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility: By opting in, you confirm you are 14 years of age or older (or have a parent or guardian's permission if younger) and are the account holder of the phone number you provide or have the account holder's permission to do so.
