The Autism Made, Autism Paid (AMAP) Academy is a comprehensive program that aims to train, educate and employ people living with autism. Our vocational curriculum aims to teach people with autism life skills for today’s fast-paced workplace.
The Autism Made, Autism Paid (AMAP) curriculum is broken down into traditional course units such as culinary operations, food handling, marketing, merchandising and sales into teachable courses. These courses have the goal of providing sustainable careers for people with autism.
Upon completion, each student will have earned a New York Food Handlers License and a comprehensive understanding of culinary business operations. The skills learned at the Autism Made, Autism Paid (AMAP) Academy provide meaningful employment with Luv Michael or elsewhere in the community.
